What to see in Torre dell’Orso

Here the sea sets the rhythm of the days: everything revolves around an extraordinary blue and clean, award-winning waters. Torre dell’Orso, halfway between Otranto and Lecce, is a small Salento town overlooking a bay of very fine sand.

The Poetry Cave (Grotta della Poesia): one of Salento’s most famous attractions, a true jewel — a natural pool with a 600-square-metre cave carved by the sea, guaranteed to leave you wide-eyed with wonder. Nearby there is also an archaeological area with prehistoric inscriptions.
